I'm not a big fan of dark lipstick or brown lipsticks for the matter unless they're pinkish brown or light brown. For once I tried DARK lipstick, and this is the effect. Btw, the lipsticks used during this mini-photoshoot (I guess) is some NK lipsticks a.k.a cheap lipsticks that you buy at black hair care stores or maybe even the Dollar Store.

NYX MINI HAUL (Way over do!)
So this is way over do. In January, I purchased three items from cherryculture. It took forever for these to come. I was really upset since it was only THREE items. The three items were NYX 10 Eyeshadow Palette in Romance, NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, and lastly, NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone.
1. NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
I would have to say that I like to use this jumbo pencil for my inner corners of my eyes. Does it work as a good eyeshadow base? I wouldn't know since I didn't use it that way. It doesn't line well since its huge, but I'm curious about the packaging. Is it possible to get more product out or is that all the product has to offer. If it all it has is that, I give it 7/10. If it does have a way to get more product, I'd give it an 8.5/10. I heard that they can crease if you use them as an eyeshadow base, but I can't give you my opinion since I have not tested it.
2. NYX Eyeshadow Palette in RomanceAs for this, I must say that I love the colors, but I have more cons than pros. When I bought this palette, the mirror fell out. I was seriously upset. The pigmentation of the colors are okay, but nothing to rave about. Some colors came out sheerer than others. My Maybelline Expert Wear Eyeshadow Quad in Chai Latte is more pigmented than these colors. I also thought the palette would be bigger. I do think the packaging is rather cute (except for the mirror). I give this a 8.2/10
3. NYX Eyeshadow Base in Skin Tone
Out of the three items I think I like this one the most. This is an eyeshadow base. It comes in pearl, white, and skin tone. You can also use this as a concealer for those with medium or medium-dark skin tones. It lasts about 4 hours. Its staying power is not the best, but you can wear it alone. It looks amazing. It blends out nicely. If you need more staying power, I would suggest buying UD Eyeshadow Primer and then using this as a cream eyeshadow. I give this a 8.9/10. Thanks for reading my haul and review. :D

New Year!
The new year has begun and I must say I can't wait for what this year has planned for me. Tomorrow starts school again. I hope everyone has written their New Year Resolution. I wrote mine on a giant piece of poster board and hung it on my wall. This year I plan not to procrastinate and get things done. Junior year will start in September, and I know for sure that it won't be easy. I have to step my game up. Over the holidays I bought a lot of stuff. I will review some hair care products and some lip glosses that I just adore. I also got some clothes from JCPenny and Kohl's (they are not my favorite stores). The camera is running and I'm getting the video editing software to upload some YouTube vids. Let's make this year a great.
P.S. I'm also having my Sweet 16 this year :))

Revlon Colorburst Lipstick in Soft Rose
I really love this color since it's so pink. I've been dying for a Revlon lipstick for awhile now. I'm glad I got this. It's so pretty. The color is Soft Rose. It's really moisturizing. I want to buy mauve next or a nudish color since I don't have a nude. I suggest buying one if you don't have one. I like pairing this with a gloss in the center. I would use my avon lip gloss if I hadn't misplaced it. That means I'm going to have to buy a nother.
MY FIRST MAC LIPSTICK!!!
This is my first MAC Lipstick in Capricious. My little sister bought it for me at Macy's. It was my Christmas present. Capricious is a plum-brown. I really wanted more of a pinkish-brown, but this is fine. The lady tried to give me dirt colors when I said PINKISH-brown or Brownish-PINK. Apparently, she has hearing problems. It is a lustre color, so it is moisturizing. With tax it comes out to be $15.52. If you keep 4-5 of your old tubes, you can get one free lipstick, but it takes forever for me to finish a lipstick. I currently have five. I'll buy another one by the end of the week. By the way, I learned how to turn off the flash, so I can show you the true color. I think the lipstick case is funny. It reminds me of a bullet. I'll buy other colors in the future once I earn some more money. I'll most likely have a sweet 16, so you'll see those pictures in the summer. I'm gathering lipsticks to put together looks. Thanks for reading

What is in my Makeup Bag?
I still need to buy blush, foundation, and powder, but I have no idea which ones to get. If you have any ideas, tell me about it. My makeup bag is a Vera Bradley. In my makeup bag I have lip balm, lipstick, lip gloss, concealer, eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, brushes, and a mirror. I only need a few more things then I'll have everything that I need to bring to school. Thanks for reading.
